Since my first years of life I knew that I was passionate about both learning and teaching. I admired each and every one of my teachers, and I wished I could one day become like them. Already a little older, after having reflected  more, I came to the conclusion that in addition to wanting to be an educator, I longed to be able to work with young children, and to be able to give them the best of myself, for which I decided definitively for study pedagogy in preschool education. But before making this decision definitively, I hesitated a bit between two careers: special education or kindergarten education. I ended up deciding on pedagogy in kindergarten education, however, I don’t rule out, in the future, studying special education and complementing it with what I am currently studying. Hi guys! My name is Sofía Fernández. I was born in Santiago of Chile, on August 21, 2002. My years of both elementary and high school education I attended the same school, called "Raimapu". It's a small school that very few people know. Currently, I'm studying Early Childhood Education in the University of Chile, although I still have a long way to go, since I'm just in the first year of my degree. My favorite hobbies are listen to music, spend time with my family and friends, go for walk and watch movies. In fact, I choose the design of this blog based on my favorite movie, "The Little Mermaid", thanks to this movie from a very young age I have been a fan of everything that has to do with the sea. There isn't so much to say about my family. I have three sisters, but I only live with the smallest of them, in addition to my mom, my stepfather and my three pets.
